An Australian couple recently bought an entire apartment on the beach and now it looks like they’ll be building a new one to pay for their rent.
The couple recently purchased the 6,000 square foot unit for $8,600, which they said is $8.50 per square foot.
The unit includes an open-air balcony, which has been covered in netting and covered in decorative mesh.
The netting also includes a large balcony railing that is 6 feet tall and weighs more than three tons.
The home also includes solar panels that can be used for electricity.
The cost of the unit, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, is $10,000 per month.
The paper reported that the couple will need to borrow about $10 million from friends to pay off their mortgage.
The family said they were trying to “start a family with a roof over their head.”
The apartment was built by Australian company Solar Edge, and it has been open to the public since it was completed.
According to the site, the unit has been “built in such a way to allow people to live in the open air while enjoying the beauty of the Sydney Harbour.”
